The people of Nicaragua are known as some of the nicest people you will meet. Also known for having the lowest crime rate in Central America, Nicaragua has a developing gay community. All of the major cities here now have gay pride events, but only Managua has gay bars.

 

 

This country has so many things to see and do. There are 58 volcano formations and 6 of them are active volcanos. Lake Nicaragua is the largest lake in Central America and has the only known ¨fresh water sharks¨in the world. The country has the Atlantic ocean on one side and the Pacific ocean on the other. Some of the best surfing in the world exists here on the pacific side. The country is mountainous.

The men of this country are macho and the women are feminine and beautiful. In contrast to usual western gay culture, gay and lesbian couples tend to have much more of a defined-role in their relationships, such as male-feminine. This is true for both male-male relationships and female-felame relationships. Even with the gains this culture has made in modernization, there is still a very traditional veiw of relationships, even gay relationships.
